How pricing evolves

Guidance on how we determine annual price reviews. Our Terms of Service remain the governing document.

This page is guidance, not a contract. Our Terms of Service are the primary document governing pricing and any changes to it. What follows explains how we actually determine price rises, so nothing about your costs is ever a mystery.

The short version

  • We review prices once a year, in the run-up to January, in line with our financial year.
  • Reviews are anchored to published benchmarks: CPI (inflation) and SPPI (professional services prices).
  • Typical adjustments sit in the 3 to 6 percent range.
  • Prices never rise silently. You hear from us first, and any adjustment is shown clearly on your invoice with a link back to this page.

How we determine a rise

Each January review starts with the numbers, not a target. We record the relevant index figures for the year, CPI and SPPI, and blend them into a suggested uplift. A person then weighs that figure against what we are actually seeing: our own costs in people, technology and operations, and what we have invested in the service during the year. Only then is a rate confirmed.

Nothing about this is automated. A price rise is a decision someone at Yopla makes and stands behind, every year, on the record.

Three things guide that decision:

  • Inflation and market conditions. Rising costs in people, technology and operations.
  • Enhanced service. Continuous investment in talent, tooling and better methods. The platform you work in gets meaningfully more capable every year.
  • Sustaining quality. Pricing has to reflect the outcomes we deliver and fund the senior team that delivers them.

What you can expect

  • Advance notice. You will always be told in good time, before anything changes.
  • Honest invoices. Any adjustment is highlighted directly on the invoice, never buried.
  • An open conversation. If a rise lands badly for your situation, talk to us. We would rather understand than enforce.

Where this sits with our terms

The Terms of Service govern. Its variation and notice clauses set out the contractual mechanics; this page explains the judgement we apply within them. If anything here ever appears to conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service win.
