We have strong opinions about technology. One of the simplest is that it should serve the person using it.
A shared document can help a team make a decision. A connected system can remove hours of repeated work. The value is in what people can do with it.
That is the kind of technology we want to build.
Useful work deserves our attention
Shoshana Zuboff's The Age of Surveillance Capitalism helped shape our thinking about the relationship between technology and attention.
We started asking a practical question: does this tool help someone achieve what they came to do, or does it keep asking for more of their time?
The distinction is not absolute. A social platform can support a useful conversation or a valuable community. The same person can also lose an hour in a feed they did not intend to read.
For us, the balance was wrong. We chose to put that time into our work, our relationships and the ideas we can share with care.
Client trust comes first
Much of our work is confidential. Organisations invite us into conversations about difficult decisions, uncertain plans and things that are not working.
People need to be able to speak honestly. We take that responsibility seriously.
We can explain our approach and share work where we have permission. We do not need to turn every engagement into public content. Some of the most valuable work will remain known only to the people involved.
The same principle shapes our platform
We want people to see what needs their attention, understand the context and get on with the work.
A useful platform should reduce repeated effort. It should keep decisions and evidence available, and help a team act with confidence. Time spent inside the software is not the goal.
That principle connects the technology we build with the way we work as consultants: listen carefully, make the situation clearer and help something useful happen.
There are other ways to stay connected
We share our thinking here, and we welcome a conversation.

Our decision about social media is a choice about where we can be most useful. We would rather earn your trust through the work and the conversations that follow.
